Happy Thanksgiving!

We are very thankful for our family every day.  This year was a bit different from previous years.  We will be getting together with the TX family next weekend when everyone will be home from school.  Today we enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal that was lovingly planned and prepared by Jason/Daddy.  I only helped a little bit.  Jason made a delicious honey glazed ham, twice baked potato casserole, sweet buttermilk corn bread, homemade cream of asparagus soup, and a Smores Galette for dessert. I helped by making the corn bread, Galette, and the casserole.  We are stuffed!
 The man and his ham!

We hope that our family and friends were able to spend this day with the people they love the most.  We know that not everyone can be with their families.  We'd like to say thank you to the men and women of all branches of our military and their families. Praying that one day soon, you can be together every holiday.

We are thankful for a year filled with many answers to prayers, family and friends that continue to support and love us and enrich our lives, and the many blessings from our heavenly Father.

Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Emma and Uncle Philip found a rock chair on our walk before dinner.
Emma, Uncle Philip, and Henry racing back to Yaya's (Aunt Amy's) for dinner.
Roasting marshmallows with Aunt Suza.
Digging for treasure with cousin Garrett in the backyard.
The lovely fire that Philip made for us to enjoy in the fire pit. It kept the chill off.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! We hope you were able to have a day full of good food, lots of laughter, and people you love. We are so very thankful for each and every one of you. We spent the day at my sisters, Yaya(Aunt Amy's). The weather was really pretty and full of fun. Here are just a few pictures of some the activities we enjoyed on Turkey Day:)

Thanksgiving Pictures 2008

Thanksgiving was hosted by my oldest brother, Kevin and his wife Julie at their house. We all brought several dishes each and had TONS of food. We spent most of the day there at the house or at the park just down the block. The kids and Moma and Daddy had a great time. Daddy was able to watch the football game, the kids were able to run around and play inside and outside, and I was able to spend time with family while keeping an eye on the kids. We had dinner midafternoon and then the kids, my sister, and three of our nieces walked down to the park and played for a bit. Then we headed back to the house and rosted marshmellows for smores. We ended up roasting other various things-just for fun! The kids ate some dinner, but I think some little fingers made several trips to the dessert table and filled up on sweets:) Here are most of the pictures I took throughout the day. There are a lot of them.

Looking Sharp

It's that time of year again. Daddy and Mommy had an evening out Saturday night. We attended the company holiday party-cocktails,dinner,dancing,casino night, and a raffle. So Jason and I got all dressed up and headed out for an adult evening out and Aunt Suza came to watch the kids for us. Thank you Suza-we appreciate it a lot. Last year we bought $100 worth of raffle tickets and didn't win anything. This year we went in purchased $6 worth and were floored when at the end of the evening, it was announced that we were the grand prize winners-$500!!!! Dinner was nice, Jason had fun at the poker, and we had a great time with two couples that are not only some of Jason's coworkers, but we're all good friends. So here is what we look like all cleaned up and pretty/handsome:)

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Just wanted to wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! We spent most of the day with my family and had a really nice time. We wish the entire family could be together, but we'll be seeing them soon too.

We are VERY thankful for our families and our friends.

I was a bad Mamma and didn't get many good pics. I was busy with our two little turkies:)
