Official Moving Date

We finally have our official moving date and now know where we are going!  I called this morning to confirm that we indeed got the apartment that we wanted and was told that we could come in today to sign the lease.  So we packed up another load of boxes and made a drop off at the storage unit and then went and signed the lease.  All we have to do now is schedule movers.  Jason plans on taking a full truck load each day since he goes back to work on Monday. I say all we have to do is schedule movers, but we still have a little packing to do too.

We are going with an apartment again because to be honest, we were not having any luck on finding another rental home and the application fees were starting to add up quickly.  And we are running out of time.  We want to be moved and pretty much settled in the new place before school starts and before I have to do all of my school prep since I am teaching for the first three months.

The complex that we decided on is only about 2 years old and is really nice.  We will be on the ground floor.  No stairs!  It's a corner unit and is the largest that they offer.  Jason could walk to work if he wanted and school will be only about a 5 minute drive.  We will be back in the old stomping grounds where we started our little family and are looking forward to it.  We've enjoyed the house, but I am looking forward to having a smaller space.  Weird, I know, but smaller will be easier to clean.

Official move date is August 7th!  So we will be pretty busy finishing up packing and moving boxes to storage.  Will keep everyone posted.
