First Kindergarten Field Trip-Mainstay Farms-Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Tree Farm

Friday was the first field trip of the year for the Kindergarten class. Mommy and Aunt Suza were two of the chaperons. We went to Mainstay Farms in Cleburne, TX. It was a beautiful day and the kids were great!
Here are some of the highlights from the day. If you live in the area and have a chance, you should go check out the farm.
Emma and Ms. Laura(her kindergarten teacher).
Henry and Mrs. Alana(his kindergarten teacher).
Henry checking out some of the different kinds of pumpkins and gourds grown on the farm.
I couldn't get Emma to pose for this picture with Henry, but he climbed right up and gave me a handsome smile.
Emma getting some loves from Aunt Suza who also went with us as a chaperon.
Henry running through one of the mazes on the property. We had some free time at the end and this is one of the activities he wanted to do again.
Emma decided to join Henry and did some running in the maze.
Mrs.Alana's class. Henry is in the first row, second from the left.
Ms.Laura's class. Emma is in the first row, third from the right.
Emma with her pumpkin and with some of her classmates. Each kiddo got to choose a baby pumpkin to take home.

I LOVE this picture of the two of them! This was in the Hay,Play, and Jump Barn.
One of the relays that the kids did was dressing their own scarecrows. This is Emma's group.

Bunches and bunches of baby pumpkins. All of these were grown on the property.

The huge play area. It had a fort, a small house, a little town of stores, a spider web and a wooden maze. Emma is at the bottom of one of the slides(left center of the pic).
Henry went for the spider web first and then moved on to the other play areas.
Back on the hayride after some playtime.
He was so tired and a little overwhelmed. We changed allergy meds for a few days and I think he was kind of out of it and he doesn't really like crowds even if they are kids his own age. He did really well though.
The big orange tractor that pulled out haywagon.
The kids all loaded up on the haywagon.
