Castles

After homework this afternoon, the little old man requested to paint. We're running low on paints, so I said that if he picked out one thing for me to paint that I would paint it for him and he could keep me company while I did it. Emma had to get in on the action too, but I ended up picking what her picture would be of. I painted Emma's first. I thought it would be a nice change to do stained glass windows and a personal touch for each kiddo. So M has pretty pink flowers and swirly curly es on her castle and Henry has bats and an eagle flying above his along with some handsome hs on his castle doors. I may eventually add more simple details, but I had to stop for two reasons-it was almost bedtime and my shoulder started to bother me.
