Emma's class has been learning about what it means to be a citizen and some of the different roles in the government. One of the things they decided to do was have a mock election. Emma was one of the nominees for class president. They made campaign posters, gave speeches, and then had an anonymous vote on Friday. Guess who won?!?!?! Emma was voted Class President!!! This is her campaign poster. Loving her campaign motto-"I will keep you safe." So proud of you Emma Joy!!! She is loving second grade and is really loving her new teacher!
