We spent Spring Break down in the Texas hill country in Bend, TX. Specifically, Colorado Bend State Park. We camped there last year and liked it so much that we decided to go again this year. And will return next year too! We hiked, waded in the river, visited and swam(kind of) in the natural spring, got reacquainted with friends from last year's visit, made new friends, played baseball and soccer a lot, left technology behind, gazed at some amazing night skies, told stories around the campfire, roasted smores, and got a much needed break from the real world.
