This past weekend, we went to a classmate's bday party. It was held at a local water park and was for one of Henry's best buddies, C. Emma and C are good friends too, so it worked out well. We didn't tell the kids until last minute due to our recent vehicle issues. Jason and I didn't want to disappoint them if it ended up that we had to cancel.
Anyway, we made it there, after a bit of a trying morning. The kids were so excited to see each other and played and swam with each other all morning. The boys and Emma raced each other in the large pool, did the lily pad cross, went down the smaller slides, and traveled along the lazy river. I think that the boys would have done the two larger slides if they had met the height requirement. C's parents provided donuts and water melon since it was a morning party and then later cupcakes were served to celebrate C's birthday.
