Weekend Plans

This upcoming weekend, we have plans again.  Saturday morning, we will be attending Dinos and Donuts at the Ft.Worth Zoo.  The Dinosaurs Unleashed exhibit is opening there that morning and we received a special invite to the event since we are Ft.Worth Zoo members.  There will be free train and carousel rides and donuts and drinks.  Here's the thing, we haven't told the kids.  We're going to surprise them Saturday morning!  They had signs up when we went a few weeks ago with Nana and Papa and both kiddos were interested.  Henry is still a HUGE fan of dinosaurs, so I think it will be fun.  And Emma likes them too.  Besides maybe we'll catch a ride on the train and enjoy a spin or two on the carousel and I know that Em will love that!

Then we're heading over to Papa and Nana's for an overnight stay(just Henry and Emma).  But before Jason and I leave, the kids and I will go see Ms. Lucy and get our hair cut.  Another bonus because they LOVE Ms. Lucy and she loves them!  She's a lot of fun and we always have a good time when we go to see her. We may also do a little shopping for H and E.  Emma is in need of some Spring Summer fashion and new shoes and Henry needs a few things too. Daddy will be at his monthly DPRG(Robot) club meeting while we are doing the hair and shopping thing.  And then we'll drop the kids back off at Mom and Dad's(Papa and Nana's) and head out for a night out and return around lunch time on Sunday to pick them up.

Henry and Emma are so excited about the slumber party at Papa and Nana's.  We use to do weekend stays a lot more before they started school.  So they really look forward to their time over there now.
