Toys R Us Goodies

After lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, we did a little walk about the mall and hit up the Toys R Us outlet. We let the kids roam free and chose several toys each for their birthday. Henry picked up a huge fighter jet, a new game for his Nintendo DS lite, and a TRIO(kind of like Legos) dragon castle set. Emma picked up a baby with stroller, a fully stocked baby diaper bag, a new game for her Nintendo DS lite, and two coloring activity books. Daddy picked up the fishing game for them to share.

With the move and all, we just ran out of time to go do any gift shopping for them. I feel like a schmuck for that, but they are happy with how we did it this year. And by the end of tomorrow, I'm sure they won't care. Tomorrow we are having the Texas family over, packed into the new place like sardines, to celebrate their sixth birthday! The plan is to take tons of pictures and video for our family in the Northwest and in Oklahoma.

I did manage to get the cakes that each of them wanted ordered and we'll pick those up in the morning before party time. We're just doing cake and ice cream and then presents. And for those family members that haven't been over yet, well, they will get the full tour of the new apartment. It should be a good time and we're all looking forward to it:)
