This is just some of the crowd of people that were in line. We had to park in the over flow parking on the other side of the rode from the zoo. There were thousands of people at the zoo today!
Papa and Emma checking out the gorillas. I missed out on getting a shot because the gorillas headed inside before I could make my way over close enough to get a shot.
Nana and Henry watching the silver back gorilla move across the habitat.
Zebras-a must see when we go to the zoo.
Mr. Handsome and Miss Pretty looking at the zebras.
This is Groucho, one of the five elephants at the zoo. I don't remember the other names of the family here in the habitat.
Some of the other elephants.
Two of the giraffes munching away. The giraffes were top on the list for Emma. She loves giraffes:)
Henry taking a peek behind the scenes.
Emma and Nana were buddies today.
Henry riding the baby elephant.
Emma riding the baby elephant.
The elephants were taking dust baths to keep the bugs off today.
Another awesome creature.
"Hey Nanie, what's that over there?!"
Papa was our guide today(kinda). He gave us all the info on each animal. Here he is reading about the animal below. Yep, Mommy memory today isn't very good.
Look, it's the latest and greatest new exhibit at the zoo! It's a Henry and Emma!
Too much papparazzi for this kangaroo, burying his head under his paws:)
The kangaroos weren't too jumpy today. They were napping when we went by. I believe that they were napping last time we were at the zoo as well. Somebody needs to get these guys some entertainment.
Watching some pheasants run by.
On our way out, we stopped and watched the lemurs groom each other. Nana is laughing because right before I took the picture, one of the lemurs feel off of the tree branch that they were perched on due to his fellow lemur getting a bit too into grooming and getting a little grabby:)
Lemurs, I could watch these two for a while. They were too cute and fun to watch!
My favorite picture from our day!
We had to stop and see the mingos!
The group they had in this spot weren't the usual bright pink.
Counting the mingos(flamingos) with Papa and Nana.
We also spotted this tortuous having a late lunch.
A closer shot of the croc.
I think this croc put on a show just for the kids. The kids got to see him from all different angles.
Henry was in awe of this croc.
We had a nice breeze all day long and then on the way back to the car it started to get really windy. Henry had to race Emma. Had to!

Nana and Papa invited us to go to the zoo today. It's half price day. It's also the middle of Spring Break and it was insane the amount of people that had the same idea that we did. There were literally thousands of people at the zoo today. So we didn't get to see a lot, but we were all okay with that. It was a great day with Papa and Nana!
