Prayers/Positive Thoughts for Papa

We have a request. Please send up some prayers or positive thoughts for my dad(Papa). He is currently in the hospital. My mom and sister had to take him into the ER two nights ago and it was then discovered that he would have to have emergency gall bladder removal surgery and that he had a very bad case of pancreatitis. The surgery went well, but he has continued to be in a lot of pain due to the pancreatitis and has also since had more issues arise. They moved him into ICU last night and he will most likely be there for several more days. We have been told that this is so that they can keep a close eye on him and that he will recover, but it will be a longer recovery. Please offer up a prayer or positive thought for my dad and the rest of the family. The last few days have been really rough and we are all extremely tired and worried. We know he'll be alright, but it's very difficult for all of us to see him in this condition and go thru all the motions that go along with this situation. I will get back to regular posts as soon as possible. And I apologize if this is a ramble, but I am tired and worried and just really want him to be back to good.

Papa is still in ICU, but has made some good improvements since yesterday afternoon. Due to visitor restrictions, we kind of take turns going in for a few minutes during the visiting hours and then just hang in the family waiting room and keep each other company. My mom is holding up pretty good and is an amazing lady. And my siblings who live closer have been spending a lot of time up at the hospital with her. We(me and Jason) were able to go in and see him twice yesterday and both times, I came out crying. It was really hard to see him like that and in so much pain. Today was a different story. His color has improved and he just looked and seemed to be doing so much better.The doctors are still waiting for some of his levels to come down and things to even out more, but we've been told that if he continues to improve at this rate or faster, he may be moved back into a regular room and out of ICU by tomorrow afternoon. So please keep the positive thoughts and prayers coming. All are very much appreciated by all of us.
