As part of homework from now on to help with learning their numbers, counting, identifying objects, and the game itself; chess is now part of the afternoon/evening activities. Daddy learned the game at an early age and still plays a little chess almost every day. So he introduced the kids to one of his chess boards(we have many) and told them about each piece and how it moves. Maybe in the process, I'll pick up the game of chess. Then we could all play the game:)
