Madrigal Dinner and Other Festivities

Henry and Emma got a special package from Mamaw. Both books were read that night before bed and enjoyed by all. Mamaw also made a donation to World vision for both kids. The donation in Henry's name was for 5 ducks and Emma's was for 2 chickens. Both donations will help families in need in hard to reach areas of the world. Thank you so much Mamaw!

Emma doing one of her favorite things, coloring. Look at those little feet sticking up in the air, she just looks so darn cute!
Our nieces Sarah and Catie and a great friend of Catie's, Kayla dressed up in costume for the Madrigal dinner/Feast of Carols.
Aunt Suza and Henry waiting for the dinner to begin.
Aunt Amy(aka Yaya), cousin Elysabeth, and Emma all cuddled up waiting for dinner to start. It was rather chilly inside even with all those people in one room.
Henry wearing our jester's hat. It was a great honor to be asked to wear the hat. Henry was a very good boy and participated throughout the evening, so he got to wear the silly hat for a little bit. He was so tired, but he did get a kick out of wearing it:)
The Little General and the Little Old Man checking out the Christmas tree. We arrived early so they enjoyed looking at all the duckerations(Emma's cute way of saying decorations).

What can I say, it's just been sheer laziness on my part about not keeping the blog updated:( Being a mommy is a full time job and sometimes I just get a bit fizzled out and need down time in the evenings when I can manage it. So I've been lazy and done other things besides upkeep with the blog. But tonight I will get you caught up and it will probably be mostly with pictures. We're currently enjoying having Daddy home with us every day until the beginning of the year! And we're running around also trying to get our last minute Christmas shopping done. Otherwise, it's been at-home activities, just enjoying each other's company. So here they are pics to get you updated for this month.

Ill be posting a special little something here in a few days to say Merry Christmas to you all.
