Plastic Smiles

Thank you Mr. Potato Head for providing hours of entertainment for my kiddos. We needed a little silliness to help us feel better. Emma was giggling and almost dropped the blue lips and Henry looks like he's puckering up to give you a big wet one:)

Lizard Heads

Emma and Henry came running into the family room the other night, giggling all the way. And this is what was on their heads as they came threw the doorway. Lizard Heads!!!! They are really enjoying learning about, Buddy, our newest family member. He's a TX spiny lizard that we caught in the yard and have adopted as a pet. These two are very good about making sure Buddy is happy and healthy and enjoying his new habitat. So maybe this was some sort of tribute to him the other night:) Silliness...

Soooo Silly....

How many baby dinosaurs can you fit in your pocket?! I think we actually managed to cram in 8-10 in her little pocket.

Henry is really into having his picture taken lately. The only thing is he has to say "cheeeeeeeese"!

silliness

This weekend was our first weekend with no plans in months. So we stayed home with the exception of a grocery store run. SuperTarget is where we normally buy our groceries. So when we go the kids usually end up with a new toy, book, video, or something. We bought our usual and also got the kids two new dvds. A new Elmo dvd and a full length Thomas the Tank Engine movie. So Sunday afternoon after naptime, we sat down to have a snack and watch the Thomas movie. The kids had juice and goldfish crackers. We had a pallet on the floor made of pillows and blankets and were watching the movie. Jason got up and got a snack for himself. Well, kids are kids and of course wanted to have some of Daddy's snack. We have no problem sharing, but this time Jason hesitated because of what he was having. Daddy's snack was Doritos Fiery Habanero chips. Both Emma and Henry tried them. Henry had two and then went back to his goldfish crackers. Emma, on the other hand, helped Daddy finish a small bowl full of these spicy chips. What was funny was her eyes were watering the whole time, but she kept asking for more. Something tells me that Daddy and Emma will be sharing jalepeno(sp) nachos in no time. The other little bit of silliness was what happened a bit later. All four of us were laying cuddled up together watching the movie and Daddy kissed Mamma. From that point on it was a kissing contest. Who could kiss Mamma and Daddy the most. So between giggles we were covered in kisses. I'm including a few pictures from the last week or so.
