The Rockin' Pros-Treetops Talent Show 2014! "I Love Rock n' Roll"

Emma tried out and performed in this year's school talent show.  Henry had planned to try out as well, but decided not to perform this year.  Emma and three of her friends performed as an air band to the classic(their choice), "I Love Rock n' Roll"  by Joan Jett and the Heartbreakers.  They did an AWESOME job!  And Emma, we believe, has conquered her stage fright.  She was the lead vocalist and did a really GREAT job!  We are so proud of the girls and their hard work.  They really had a great time.

Happy 5th Birthday, Henry and Emma!!!

Happy 5th Birthday to you, Henry William and Emma Joy!!!
Our handsome boy!!!
Our beautiful girl!
Emma opening her bday card from Granny and Grandpa-double bonus 1) You can't go wrong with anything princess related with her. The card was Cinderella. 2) Granny and Grandpa sent her a $5 bill!
Henry opening his card from Granny and Grandpa. Another double bonus. 1) He loves superheros-Superman and Batman are two of his favorites. 2) He also got a $5 bill.

I'll save the other birthday surprise from Granny and Grandpa for one of my next posts;)

Jason took the day off today and the four of us celebrated Henry and Emma's special day. We took them to one of their favorite restaurants, The RainForest Cafe, then stopped at Toys R Us and they each got to pick a toy of their choice(within reason), and then home to watch some new movies and play with their new toys. When we got home, H and E had bday cards waiting to be opened from Granny and Grandpa. They also received two phone messages from Aunt Suza and Yaya(Aunt Amy) and several messages on my Facebook page from family and friends with wonderful birthday wishes. It has been a really wonderful day. Saturday, we are having family over for a big birthday bash and I'll take as many pictures as possible.

We can't believe that it's been five years since we brought these two into the world. So many changes in such a short time.

To our two little precious birthday people, Henry and Emma, Daddy and Mommy love you so very very much! Happy 5th Birthday!!!
