We enjoyed a half day/early release day at school today by participating in our school's annual Literature Festival for K-3rd Grade. Our 3rd graders dressed as a person in history, ie-an inventor, entrepreneur, or someone of substance from history. They also did a 2 minute presentation about the person they chose and then their classmates had to guess who they were. Henry and Emma did really great jobs and worked hard on their presentations. Special thanks to our dear friend, Ms. Elizabeth for loaning us all of the Mary Kay apparel and props! And who knew a boy could enjoy wearing a suit to school?!
And now, we're on SPRING BREAK!!!
And Mom can fall over:) A week off from school activities, substitute teaching, and anything school related is just what we all need before the final stretch and before they have to take the STAAR test next month.
