My mom had open heart surgery in May and is still recovering. She has had two Thoracentesis done to drain fluid from her lung(s) and now has a drain in for a bit longer to get rid of the remaining liquid. The other main issue is sleep or lack there of. My poor mom is beyond exhausted and so is my dad and most of our family, but Mom the most. She has been having trouble sleeping for months. She's so tired, she can't sleep. It has been really rough. She has also lost a lot of weight during this process and is trying to gain some back. She's been a trooper and for the most part has a great attitude, but some days have been harder than others. She has had a great medical team and is happy with that, but is really over the constant visits to the doctor(s).
So I am asking that you pray or continue to pray for her and her recovery and pray for our family. We know that once she is able to get the proper rest, the rest of her recovery will be a breeze.
Besides that, just look at this beautiful lady and that great smile! That's my Mom and Henry and Emma's Nana!
