We are very thankful for so many things this year. There really are too many to list, but I thought I'd share Henry and Emma's thoughts. They both said that they had been thinking about it for a while. Henry said that he was thankful for God, his family and friends, Ms. Laura(his teacher), and football. Emma said that she was thankful for Jesus, God, her family and friends, and Ms. Jessica(her teacher).
Jason and I are thankful for our families, our happy and healthy kiddos, our friends, a comfortable home, job security, a school that we all love, the men and women of our military branches that are far from home and their families protecting our nation so that we can celebrate with ours, and so many many other things.
We spent the afternoon/early evening at Amy and Elysabeth's with the Martin side of the family. We ate great food, enjoyed the warmth of the fire pit outside in the backyard on this beautiful day, talked a lot, laughed a lot, and played a lot of games together. We ended with a call to the Henriksen/Christie/Battle side of the family and a chat with the Chaney side too! We may not have all been at the same table today to give thanks, but we were all together in spirit. Words can not express how thankful I am for each and every member of our combined families.
We hope that you all had a wonderful day with people that you love. Give thanks every day and let people know how much they are appreciated. We're blessed every day with a little something. Remember that.
Happy Thanksgiving!
