The Newish Ride

We have joined the ranks of the SUV/Truck driving families out there. It is something we have considered for some time and things fell into place recently, so we took the plunge. The kids love it and Jason and I are getting use to it. We wanted at least one of the two cars to be a bigger vehicle to make road trips and such, easier. This will do the trick. Camping trips and road trips to see family in the NW will be much easier with a roomy vehicle.  I call it the newish ride because it did not just roll off the showroom floor.  This is a '99 GMC Yukon.  We still have the red car(aka the ghetto car) and the BMW is still resting in the driveway awaiting repairs after a thorough diagnostic.  The Dodge is no more thanks to 1)the engine throwing a rod and 2) someone plowed into it while we were gone on Spring Break and the insurance company totaled it.   We had already been looking at vehicles before this happened.  So it worked out.
