Read to Succeed!!!

We started the Six Flags Read to Succeed Program back in November.  We participated in the program last year to.  The kids are required to read 20 minutes per night anyway as part of homework.  This could be me reading to them, them reading to me, or independent reading on their own as long as it is for 20 minutes without interruption.  We normally read for longer.  Well, this year, I am very happy to say that we have already turned in our reading logs because the kids have exceeded the required amount for the program.  The Read to Succeed Program asks that the kids read a total of 360 minutes(6 hours)  between November to mid February.  We read a total of 1215 minutes!!!  Which means...two free tickets to Six Flags!!!  We are really proud of our little readers!
