I honestly thought that I had posted about this special day at school, but it looks like I was wrong. The kiddos were invited to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal friend to school for a sleepover a few weeks ago. Obviously, the kiddos could not do a slumber party at school, BUT their stuffed animals friends could! They brought their friends with them to school on Thursday and the stuffed buddies stayed over night at the school and the kids took them home the next day. Well, while at school the stuffed animal friends were able to enjoy, morning circle time in class, working with their friends on their school work, and a nice nature walk outside.
I took pictures of all three classes with their stuffed animal friends-individual shots, group shots, and shots showing evidence of what those crazy stuffed animal friends of our did overnight while the kids were home asleep! Ms. J and I ducked out of lunch and scrambled to get their night time activities posed so that I could take pictures. And there was more evidence the next morning as the went into class. We had animals climbing the bookshelves, animals that didn't clean up after a late night party, animals that did not make it back to where the kiddos left them the day before. It was great!
All of the kids had a great time with their stuffed animal friends!
