This is what we know so far and are praying for more improvement so that he can go home and begin living life at home with his mommy, daddy, and big brother.
-a feeding tube has been put in and he is getting milk from his mommy which is helping him sleep better
-Jaundice is setting in and they will test in the morning to see if light treatment is required
-a pik line has been put in the vein next to his heart to get the IV antibiotics where they need to go
-he has a small hole in his heart that is not concerning in the doctor's opinion, but will be monitored
-he will return in 2 months time for an echo to see if the hole has closed on its own
Right now, I know that my sister and brother in law are worried, tired, and wanting their little one to be okay. And I'm sure Christopher(his big brother) is confused and can sense his parents' worry.
Granny and Grandpa and his daddy's family are there to offer support, love, and prayers. And our family and numerous friends have been and will continue to pray for all of them.
So if you wouldn't mind sparing a minute or two, please send a prayer or thought their way. It is greatly appreciated.
