Moon Day
July 21st
DPRG (Dallas Personal Robotics Group), Daddy's robot club was one of many science based clubs to exhibit at the museum today for Moon Day. We arrived at 8am to set up and had the museum all to ourselves before opening at 10am. Once the doors opened, Daddy did his thing and the kids and I had fun doing some hands on experiments, learning all sorts of cool things about the exploration of space, looking at some of the exhibits that were not open/ready when we arrived, played in the kids activity center for literally hours, and collected two bag fulls of freebies from the booths/exhibits. It was a long, but fun day. We made it home a little after 6pm, ate dinner, got the kids through the shower, read bedtime stories, and have tucked them in for the night. It's 8:45pm and I am seriously thinking about going to bed already.
The full day can be seen here on Flickr -Moon Day Set.
