Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Wishing our family, friends, and blog readers a very Happy Valentine's Day!!!

This is how Henry, Emma, Mommy, and the Kindergarten classes at school spent the day--volunteering and thanking the people of our community for their daily services. Daddy had a business meeting tonight, so we will be celebrating our Valentine's together tomorrow night.

I'm so very proud of our 3 Kindergarten classes for the hard work that they have done for today's Have a Heart Field Trip/Community Helpers Day.
1.The kids made cards for our local firefighters and we took in homemade cookies to thank them for their service.
2.The kids made gift bags for the 6 youth department librarians at our local city library and presented the bags to them after story time.
3.The kids collected coins and donated $63 and change to The Ronald McDonald House.
4.Picked up litter at one of our local parks.
5.Collected three full laundry baskets of food, treats, and toys for the dogs and cats at our local animal shelter.
6.Collected and donated $215 and change to the local animal shelter!

We hope you all had a lovely day and were able to spend some time with the one(s) you love.

We have a lot to share and I hope to be back to more regular posting.  I've been spending a lot of time at school with the kids the last few weeks, but my schedule there will slow down some next week for a short period and I'll get us all caught up on news and pictures.
