Prayers and Positive thoughts for Great Aunt Lila and Uncle James

If you are family or a friend of ours, could you take a minute or two and send up a prayer or positive thought for two of our family members?

Great Aunt Lila(my aunt, my mom's sister) lives up North and I believe she's met the kids once when they were still tiny, but she and Uncle Bob keep up with us through the blog and thru Nana.  She is a truly a great lady and we love her so much. And I wish that we lived closer so that we could visit more often, but we don't.  She was recently diagnosed with cancer and is in treatment.  So far she's done alright with the treatment and hasn't had many side effects that they haven't been able to ease with medicine.  We hope and pray that this continues.  Nana has been getting regular updates and has been passing them on to all of us kids.  Any and all prayers for Lila, Uncle Bob,the doctors who are treating her, and all that are involved would be greatly appreciated.


Uncle James(Aunt Rachel's husband) is scheduled for surgery on the 28th of this month.  He has had some major problems with his right shoulder for several years now and is now finally going to get some relief.  He's nervous about it, understandably so, but is looking forward to feeling better.  Please pray that the surgery goes well and that his recovery is quick.  He is worried about a few things.  He's concerned about taking care of Aunt Rachel and their new baby boy, Christopher and he's also concerned with the amount of time he will miss in regards to his college classes.  Again, if we lived closer, we would have no problem lending a helping hand.  So we are praying and sending as many positive thoughts as possible.

Any and all prayers, positive thoughts, lighting of candles, or whatever you believe in, would be very much appreciated.  Aunt Lila and Uncle James are very special to us and we are really hoping that things go well in treatment for both of them.
