Fort Worth Botanical Gardens and Japanese Gardens-Part 2

This is part 2.  There are about 20 other pictures that I'll share with you, but it will be later today.  It seems that I have reached my quota on free space here for picture storage.  I shouldn't be surprised after 6 years of blogging and posting pics.  Jason and I are sharing a Flickr account and I will be transferring our pictures from there from here on out. So please be patient, I'm learning as I go.

Suza and Emma spotted this butterfly having an afternoon snack.
Dogwood
In the rose garden.
We followed the butterfly down the path.
Look at his expression!
Emma relaxing by the koi pond.
Sarah having a conversation with Henry.  She was so happy to have them all to herself:)
Henry chatting with Sarah.
They LOVED having special time with cousin Sarah!

That must have been a great conversation:)
The Stargate:)
One of the first towers that you see when you enter the Japanese Gardens.
Running to meet us from the other side of the pond with Aunt Suza.
There was a private event in the pavilion area above us.  She was listening as the live band warmed up.

Racing across the devils bridge.

Look closely at Emma's hair flying in the breeze.  It looks just like the plant behind her:)

Meet "Rudolph", our orange nosed friend.
Uncle Philip being goofy.  Perhaps he was going to hop over the bridge and into the water to catch a koi by hand.
A rare thing indeed, I'm normally the one behind the camera.  This is just proof that Mommy does exists.
Pure white koi fish.
Feeding the koi fish.  Besides the beautiful scenery, this was the main reason we came, to feed the fish.

Stepping stones.  It may not look like very far to step, but once you're out there, one wrong step and your foot or more ends up in the pond;)

Sometimes, you have to race people to get to the best spot!

Sarah was brave and went out on the stepping stones each time Henry did.  Emma went out once and barely got one foot wet and she was done with those stones.

Another rare sighting, Daddy smiling and it being caught on camera.  I had to sneak to get this picture.  He's not a big fan of having his picture taken, even by me.

Two ducks resting in the shade.  It was starting to get warmer by this time.

Emma and Suza were buddies.  Emma insisted on bringing her own purse.  She looks very chic here, don't ya think?!
My boys:)
This is inside the begonia greenhouse.
Sarah and Uncle Philip taking a break.
I thought this tree looked really cool.
My boys again.   Henry asked Daddy for a shoulder ride because his legs were tired.
One of my favorites from the day.  They were watching the turtles bob their heads in and out of the water.

All of us lines up watching the koi fish.
