Mommy's Family Birthday Party:)

New York Style cheesecake was what I chose to have as my bday cake this year.

Henry and Emma made me homemade cards over the weekend which they presented to me before I opened my bag full of presents. They both did an absolutely great job! I love the cards!

I have had one of the best birthdays this year. I am so very thankful for my family and friends and the love and support they give me every day. I received numerous bday wishes on Facebook, text messages on my phone, emails, cards, and phone calls wishing me a Happy Birthday! Nana, Papa, Suza, and Philip took the kids for the weekend starting Friday after school. I had lunch with my sister Susan on Friday and then she dropped me back at our house and continued on to pick up the kids from school. I read for a little bit and then napped for an hour or so. Jason took me to dinner at a local Italian restaurant and we enjoyed so really good wine with dinner. We made it an early night because I was told that I couldn't sleep in the next day. Jason had arranged a spa day for me. I was "queen" for a day. The package included an amazing steam shower, followed by a 75 minute full body massage, a facial, a mani/pedicure, hair color and cut, makeup done, and lunch was brought in. I was at the spa from 8 am to a little after 5pm Saturday. It was...INCREDIBLE:) And then after that we went out again for dinner to another local restaurant. JR's Steakhouse is a five star restaurant that has the most amazing food! Not only was the food and wine great, but the service was outstanding! And to wrap up my bday weekend we had lunch with the Martin side of the family and then more cheese cake and presents back at our house. It has been such a great three days and I feel like a new woman:) Thanks to all my family(near and far) and all my friends who have enriched my life so very much in my 37 years of life. I love you all more than you know:)
