The charter school that Henry and Emma attend is located on 20 acres which include a couple of small creeks. Wednesday we had a storm front move through that dumped several inches of rain on us and surrounding areas. I got an email just two hours into the school day asking the parents to return to the school to pick up their kids. The water in the creek by the lower grade school was quickly rising. So the kids and Daddy came home early that day. We had lunch and then we got out puzzles to keep us entertained for a bit so that Daddy could work from home. Henry and Emma have become really good at doing puzzles themselves. They each did five or six puzzles each. Thank again to Aunt Suza for the large collection of puzzles:)
