Emma and the Double Ear Infection & the Furry House Guest

Emma was home most of this week with me. It would seem that the cold that all of us caught from germy little hands at school turned into a double ear infection for our Emmie. She had been complaining on and off about her ears bugging her, so we took her in on Wednesday afternoon. She started running a fever early early Tuesday morning, so I kept her home. She returned to school this morning just in time for the classes teddy bear picnic today and library day. She's feeling better and all week long she wanted and practically begged for me to let her go to school. One perk to being home was being able to spend extra time with our house guest. We are puppy sitting for some friends and the kids love having another pup around. Chica, who is a Chihuahua, will be with us until the 27th. Chance is loving having a playmate and the kids love having another furry baby to play with. Oh, and Henry caught another TX Spiny lizard the same afternoon Buddy passed away. He gently caught the tiny little thing and ran inside to show Daddy. Before he showed Daddy though, he put the little guy in Buddy's old habitat. So, we now have a "new" lizard for Henry and he named it Fish:) I don't have any pictures yet, but when I do I'll post them.
