Enjoying the Last Bits of Summer

Em lovin' on Chance. She's really taken to him and vice versa. I'm loving the pigtails in this one.
I'm kind of embarrassed to say this, but my children may have a slight shoe fetish. They did a shoe fashion show for me the other day. Emma even wanted to haul shoes down from our bedroom to try on.
She looks so old here. Both kids seem to be going through little growth spurts. Both are all legs(kinda weird since I'm short and their daddy is average height).
I'm telling you, the dog just doesn't get enough attention!
He may look frustrated, but he wasn't. There was tail wagging and playful barking shortly after this. Emma was upset because bubbie jumped in for the picture.

Henry and Emma start school on the 23rd so we've been cramming in all the playtime that we can. Here are a few shots that I've taken over the past few days.
