Oh the Things They Say...

Here are a few ditties from Em and Bubby.

One of Uncle Philip's Facebook statuses from the week before last-

Emma, when I'd turned on the hose and the water started spraying from the three functioning (and dribbling from the as-yet-uninvestigated fourth) sprinkler heads on the 3' inflatable globe, starts running around the yard yelling,"SAVE YOURSELVES!". She's five.

Later that night he was telling Aunt Suza the story and Emma piped in and said, "Yeah, I'm awesome!"

Several weeks ago we watched Homeward Bound and afterwards Emma asked if we could get a puppy and kitty cat that talk like the ones in the movie:)

Henry just being sweet with his sister has been stopping what he's been doing now and then and saying, "I love you sissy."

And since our trip to Disneyland in April with Granny and Grandpa, the kiddos pretend to go on some of the rides we all went on. One of the ones they both weren't too keen on was Pirates of the Very Beginning...uhm, I mean, Pirates of the Carribean. Credit for that gem goes to Henry.
