Mini Vacation

Thanks to Nana, Papa, Aunt Suza, Uncle Philip, and Uncle Mike for giving us this week off from parenting. Henry and Emma are enjoying a 5 day stay with Nana and Papa and are going to VBS(Vacation Bible School). So Monday thru Friday from about 9 am to noon they are at church learning and playing with other kids their age, then playing at N and P's house and enjoying family time with the gang there. And from what we have been told, they ARE sleeping all night! Mommy and Daddy are enjoying the quiet while we can, but are missing our two little people. We had a date night Sunday night after dropping off the kids. And I've managed to get a few small projects done in the first few days. We're also planning another date night this week before we pick up the kids. And tomorrow, I hope to have a girls day out with a friend of mine. We'll do lunch, maybe a little shopping, and get our nails done. As for the rest of the week, I plan on catching up on some reading, work on doing some possible changes to the blog, finishing a few more projects, and enjoying the down time. The kids are back either Friday or Saturday. And then we(me, Henry, and Emma) head back over to Richardson for most of next week. I've got a girls night out with Suza, Catie, and Sarah and some of their friends for the Twilight Trilogy. I'm enjoying the down time, but am also looking forward to having my monkeys back home:) More posts to come in the next few days.
