Fort Worth Botanical Gardens/ Butterfly Garden

We went to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens on Tuesday of this week. Daddy(Jason) took the day off and we all went together. We had lunch at Rail Head(really good BBQ) before and had Olive Garden for dinner after. The gang spent the day at the gardens and saw all sorts of really beautiful things. Jason took over 700 pictures while we were there. Here are just a few taken that day.

Feeding the koi in the Japanese Gardens. (Sarah, Aunt Suza, Emma, Henry, Elysabeth)
Emma showing Daddy what the fish food looks like.
The girlies being silly. (Sarah, Catie, Emma, Elysabeth)
Henry taking it all in. His favorite part was feeding the koi.
Emma and Catie waving at us thru the trees and plants in the Japanese Gardens.
Walking across a stone bridge with help from Aunt Suza.
One of the many ducks we saw in the gardens.
The koi were well fed that day. (Elysabeth, Emma, Mommy, Henry)
(Henry,Emma, Aunt Suza, Elysabeth,Mommy,Sarah, Catie)Our Emma girl:)
Feeding more koi. We made several stops in the Japanese Gardens so that Henry could feed the fish.
Sarah and Henry taking a break from walking in the gardens. Henry was a little shutterbug with cousin Catie's camera. We only brought the new camera so Catie let him use her small camera.
A view of one of the ponds.
Along the path checking things out and taking pictures.
There were small little learning areas along the path for kids. So we stopped and checked them out.
These were blossoms on a tree on the path we took.
Poppies in bright beautiful colors.
At the beginning of our day. The girls were more than happy to have a picture taken, but Henry was ready to get to the koi ponds.
Pansies.
The kids spent most of the day attached to Aunt Suza and/or their cousins. Mom and Dad were just kinda in the background:)
Gerbera daisies.
Blue Morpho butterfly

Small Postman. Henry had a friend hang out on his finger for a bit. He was thrilled!
I got this beautiful little guy from another butterfly admirer. He went from the other guys finger onto mine and then I took him to Henry.
Paper Kite butterfly.
Malachite butterfly.
Common Mormon butterfly.

Orange Longwing butterfly.

Great Mormon butterfly.
