This past weekend on Saturday, we took the kids to a craft fair that my parents had heard about from friends at their church. The Homestead Children's Craft Fair is held every year the weekend right after Thanksgiving in a town called Elm Mott, TX. There are 50 houses on this homestead that covers 500 acres. They grow a lot of their own food. And no it's not a cult/compound if anyone is wondering. All we had to do was drive about 1 1/2 hrs down towards Waco, pay $5 for parking, and pay for food and drink and any items for sale. The rest(the arts and crafts for the kids) were free. We meet up with my parents(Nana and Papa), Aunt Suza, Uncle Philip, Aunt Yaya(Amy) and our niece Elysabeth. We enjoyed some yummy food, great music, a petting zoo(area), a hayride, and lots of outside time for the family. We all had a wonderful full day. Here are some pics to show you how our day was.
