March Madness:)

So...the month of March so far has been rather crazy busy. All of us had the flu a few weeks ago. Poor Henry had the croup(sp?) as well. We're all better now. On the 3rd(H&E's) 3rd birthday we had our own little party with cupcakes and a few presents. And then on the 8th we had the Martin side of the family over for a birthday bash! The kids had a great time and got loads of stuff. And then they had a slumber party over at Papa and Nana's house. Over the past few weeks we've carted them around with us to various places-mostly doctor appointments for me. Next week we take them in for their three year checkup and shots. Three years old!!! I can't believe it:)

Here are some of the highlights from the past few weeks--

While over at Papa and Nana's Henry had some homemade cookies and had asked for more, when told no more, he leaned back folded his arms and said, "Oh man!" with a little disappointed look on his face!

Henry has become quite a little jumper. He launches himself off of the furniture throughout the day. It can be a bit nerve racking for me, but he hasn't split his head open yet:)

Emma has been our little general as of late. She has been putting the cat in timeout when he misbehaves. She has also tried this with her brother. No success on either:)

Emma has also been really successful with potty training. She's been really good about telling us when she needs to go. So proud of her:)

Henry is not so fond of the potty. So we're have only had a few successful trips, but I'm sure he'll catch on soon.

They are both talking up a storm. Emma is a bit more advanced then Henry, but he is catching up quickly.

Bottles are gone. And Henry seems to be doing better about not being as scared of the dark.

They both are trying their hand(s) at talking back. This does not make Mommy or Daddy very happy, but we know it's all part of them growing up. We have been working on it though.

I'm sure there is more, but my brain isn't functioning properly(imagine that). I'll post stats from their doc visit next week. And I'm sure we'll have more stories to tell. But just so you know, Henry and Emma are doing really well:)
