Last weekend we spent with my parents and the rest of the family. My older sister Susan graduated from PCI Health Training and the graduation ceremony was Saturday evening. So we all made the trek to The Potters House(church in Dallas) to attend the ceremony and cheer her on. The kids were great-well behaved and had a good time. It was a good thing we spent the night because we didn't get back to the house until 8:30pm. We had a late dinner and got the kids to bed at 9:30pm which is late for them. The next morning we went to church with Papa and Nana and the kids were again great! There was no service that morning, but they did have a Christmas concert. We listened to the church choir, the orchestra, and the handbell choir. It was a wonderful performance and we all enjoyed it. Then we went to lunch and back to the house for an attempted nap. And then we headed back to the church for an event that my parent's church hosts at Christmas time called the City of Bethlemhem. It was great-people in costume, a petting zoo, several booths that were auhentic with the times-bread baking, rope making, mosaic box making, perfume making, musical instrument making, and we got to see Baby Jesus! And that is just to name a few. It was a big success. Jason met us there and after we made the rounds and gave kisses and hugs to the family we headed home. So the kids had a couple of late nights this past weekend. The only bad thing is we picked up a cold-mainly Henry, but at our house it eventually gets everyone. We have to get better quick because Granny and Grandpa and Aunt Lisa and Uncle Brian are coming next week. I think we may already be on the road to recovery. Enjoy the picks!
Our new life with twins born 3-3-05 named Henry and Emma. Our trip through life and love with two new children. Some of it has already been a battle some has already been fun.
