It's Quiet...a Little Too Quiet

We are enjoying our first early release day of the year (2012).  There's no homework, lunch is done, and we are settled in for the afternoon.  Normally there would be some kind of noise coming from one or both kiddos.  It's strange because it is quiet and when I say quiet I mean one of the following is happening, a)the kids are at school(NOT), b)the kids are plotting to take over the world in the next room and are up to something, c) both children are happy, calm, and content.  The normal (and not always the bad answer)would be B, but not today!  Today the answer is C and Jason and I have been pleasantly surprised. You see lately we've been having these kind of days, ya know the "he's/she's breathing my air" type of days, yeah, you know what I'm talking about.  So we ARE definitely enjoying this calm that has settled on the house this afternoon.  We are off Monday in honor of Martin Luther King and hope that this peace and calm stays.  It sure would be nice.
